Lucinda is a senior generalist solicitor in our Nowra office. She has recently joined the team, after spending the last decade working for NGO’s in both New Zealand and Australia.
Her legal career started in private practice, where she was offered a partnership very early on, however, her passionate was social justice and that was the path she followed, until April this year when she returned the private sector. Lucinda was attracted to Carter Ferguson’s contemporary holistic approach to the legal industry(and Friday drinks), and is settling in perfectly. She practices in the areas of wills and estates, employment law,
immigration, insurance, debt recovery and anything else that is thrown at her! She is solution and client focused, down to earth, and she will be honest with you about your chances of success in a matter. A lawyer with a conscious!
Lucinda has held numerous positions on different committees throughout the past 15 years, including; South East Women’s Advocacy Service, Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service, Women South Inc, and the Monaro Community Access Centre. She was the NSW representative for Women’s Legal Services Australia from March 2016- April 2019. Currently she is an advocate for rescue greyhounds, and a mentor with the NSW young lawyers’ program.
In her spare time, she likes to hang with her two ratbag Italian greyhounds, swim, and cook for friends and family.
